The Specs
The NGP will be shipped with a Quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor which in short means, the most powerful mobile processor out currently for mobile gaming devices (1.3Ghz) which I'm sure when this device gets jailbroken, rooted, or hacked will be overclocked to much higher. It has a capacitive 5 inch multitouch OLED screen, as well as a multitouch BACK. Yes a back, as in your fingers as you hold it, will be able to control it from the rear. Pretty impressive right? Well thats not all, the devices has TWO analog joyticks. not the Nubs like on the first PSP. The NGP will have 3G and Wifi, and there will be a WiFi only version coming out shortly after the release. As well as Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR which plainly means that it can send data at pretty nice speeds to other Bluetooth enabled devices around you.
2 Cameras and Accelerometer built in!
Yes this device will have two cameras built in, a lower resolution in front, and a higher resolution in the back which will most likely be used for Skype Video Calls. The NGP also has a 3-axis gyroscope and a full Accelerometer so you can tilt and play your games like the iPhone and many other devices.
3G and WiFi and New Flash Memory
Like the PSP Go, the NGP will have a "New Flash Memory Storage System" which means you will still be downloading your games, but because of the 3G, you will be able to do it anywhere instead of having to be in the WiFi zone. For those of us in the military, thats great news, we can load up games on the go and play them while deployed and with eachother via bluetooth! Also, because of the 3G, you will be able to play games against others across the country, a sort of mobile Xbox Live if you will.
